More information on Shawn and Stephen:

Shawn Jones:
Armed with a powerful and affecting voice, compelling songs, and virtuoso guitar skills, SHAWN JONES has been captivating his audiences for 25 years. Whether solo or with his blues/rock trio he’s been making his mark throughout the U.S., Ireland, United Kingdom and European Union.
Shawn has five studio albums and one live album under his belt. Shawn opened for five-time Grammy winning legend Robert Cray on a 16 date theater tour of the UK in the summer of 2018. Early on, he was managed by the late, great Waylon Jennings, which earned him the opportunity to tour and record with him.

Shawn has shared bills with many renowned musicians, including B.B. King, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, Derek Trucks, Robben Ford, Joe Bonamassa, and many others.

Stephen Inglis:
Guitar Slinger/Word Singer
Stephen Inglis is a versatile artist. He crosses genres, yet his
music always radiates integrity. Born and raised in Honolulu, he plays Grammy-nominated Hawaiian slack key guitar. He records and tours with the most respected traditional musicians. His duet album with legend Dennis Kamakahi, Waimaka Helelei,
won Hawaii’s highest musical honor, a Na Hoku Hanohano Award, and the CD is on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Barely out of his teens, Stephen formed a group with legendary Grateful Dead drummer, Bill Kreutzmann.

Along with his strong respect for tradition, Stephen is a creative innovator. His album Slackin on Dylan opened up new territory for slack key, winning him a Hawaii Music Award. He has made three albums of his own singer-songwriter originals, acoustic and electric. His latest album, “Cut The Dead Some Slack” Grateful Dead interpreted Slack Key style,
has been garnering rave reviews worldwide.

Stephen lives the music life to the full: club gigs, concerts, festivals, touring, recording. He has played to sold out crowds at esteemed venues such as The Barns at Wolftrap and the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley.

Shawn Jones will be joined by Stephen Inglis from Hawaii. They will embark on a two week tour of Ireland in June, 2019 playing festivals, theaters, and selected clubs promoting their new project.
Shawn and Stephen met through Lowden Guitars six years ago and immediately formed a friendship and musical bond. Their kindred love for Lowden guitars and making music led them to collaborate in a duo project and complete a 10 song instrumental release called “Common Ground” guesting another fellow Lowden guitar mate and virtuoso, Thomas Leeb.
