Rock Pool to open in July!
On 18th June Friends of the Rock Pool had a very productive meeting with the Recreation and Environment Committee of Down District Council.
The outcomes were:
work has started to upgrade the pool's facilities
the aim is to open the pool in the second week of July
a joint working party has been established with a first meeting scheduled for September
active plans are in progress to maintain and develop the Rock Pool's future
